Virginia Woolf’s Bust in Tavistock Gardens

by Christos Polydorou

This afternoon I went to Bloomsbury, where Virginia Woolf lived and wrote. I went to the parks imagining her somehow in my step as I hurried across the street to Tavistock Gardens, where the British genius sat and thought. As a reader, a writer, an Anglophile, I have always been inspired by the work and life of Virginia Woolf. Here is a photograph of her bust I took this afternoon. I’d recommend any of her writings but Orlando,  To The Lighthouse &  The Waves in particular.
