Faith in both of us

by Christos Polydorou

Don’t speak to me
when we are naked
about unnaked things,
I cannot bear it. You
call me tempermental
until I am on top of you.
All the girls have run away
from you because they can
sense a disingenuousness
in you that hinges on vulgar
falseness. You say I am
kind to be cruel to you. Where
are you going, without me? All
the boys run away from me
because they can see I am
in love, just what with,
God knows. Me too.
