Heartbreak and then some

by Christos Polydorou

I make – or made – effusive statements in the past like I am an elephant or I will never marry or I prefer the company of trees to people. It definitely feels that way I say it or rather write it in the moment. And then something or someone will happen, I’ll accidentally look deeply into the eyes of someone so tall and magnificent, that I’ll wonder, have I made the right choice, staying single all my life? I threw my heart to the wrong dogs and now I am trying to fix all the damage fast.
