I was relieved to discover it was March. It has been such a blindingly long winter. I brought some of Spring with me in my room and put it in an old Orangina bottle. I don’t know why but when my eye falls on the five white petals of each almond blossom it reminds me of Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man. White is such a powerful colour, I sometimes forget to see it. It’s emphasis is subtle but it is so emphatic.
