Dressed in night
by Christos Polydorou
I do not wish to wait forever,
nor should I have to.
On this night of nights,
when I’ve left a lot of the old birds go,
even some pterosaurs,
if you can.
And you can.
I am wearing you favourite dress.
The one I bought for you with my own money.
Find me, and take it off of me.
Then we can become heavenly bodies,
across time, and space.
