The Circle Of Life
by Christos Polydorou
I do not fear…the moment of atypical rapture. I anticipate it.
I do not fear…the feeling that I am free falling through my body, until I am not longer free falling, but am free.
I do not fear…the interim, the interval, the mid-point between this way and that way, the gap of indecisiveness, the gap in which all decisions are considered and yet no action is taken.
I do not fear…that one day an owl will swoop down from the sky as I scatter across the grass and carry me to its babies, for food.
