Those who see beauty in ugly things
by Christos Polydorou
Self-effacing, an erasure
until one is only the sum total
of one’s experiences. Squeegee clean
the lenses the mirrors glass kaleidoscope
disco balls satellites space stations outer space
becomes inner now and you are full of it.
There is a difference between minimalism
and being apologetic. One does not set out
into the world wishing to offend.
Remains in the world, grasping,
at any resemblance of innocence.
Rolling rock roll the rolling rock
and roll him back into her
until her is free of him
and her is now herself.
